Karin brings nearly 20 years of experience in the talent acquisition, employer brand and candidate outreach space with an emphasis on reaching and retaining niche candidate audiences including veteran, diverse, disabled, high demand and emerging workforces.

Karin’s most recent work has focused specifically on building veteran employment programs with employers for transitioning service members, veterans and military spouses. She created programs to bridge the gap between employers and veterans through streamlined outreach, brand development, training and strategy.

This focus has a personal meaning for Karin: “I was honored to be the 2017 Wright Patterson Air Force Base Military Spouse of the Year and Top 3 Finalist as Marine Corps Military Spouse of the Year, and I am dedicated to raising the visibility of spouses to potential and current employers.”

Karin is married to a tough-as-nails Marine Corps Gunny with 21+ years of Active Service and is mom to two girls, Sweetness and The Wolverine who are nationally and regionally ranked competitive equestrians. Karin and her family spend most their free time at the Stillwater Valley Riding Academy with their favorite horses Jessica Waltz and Big Red Radar and are looking forward to the 2018 competition season.
Update 2019/2020: Karin now function’s in an outside advisory role for FASTPORT in partnering with companies and additional organizations.
