Fort Leonard Wood, MO – FASTPORT is sponsoring the highly anticipated Hiring Our Heroes Transition Summit on May 5 – 6. The event will connect transitioning service members with trucking industry employers committed to hiring veterans.
“We are proud to sponsor this transition summit because of the natural tie-in to the trucking industry,” said FASTPORT CEO Bill McLennan. “Fort Leonard Wood is where all of the military branches provide basic training for their truck driving specialists, and we look forward to educating them about the great career opportunities with great employers in the trucking industry.”
The Summit at Fort Leonard Wood is free to all Missouri service members, veterans, and military spouses. Expect to hear from federal and state representatives, local leaders, military officers and employers from:
