FASTPORT, LLC is proud to host the Trucking Track section on the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation’s Hiring Our Heroes Initiative. The Trucking Track section will help military veterans find great careers in the trucking industry.

The Hiring Our Heroes Initiative was launched in March 2011 as a nationwide initiative to help veterans and military spouses find meaningful employment.  To date, Hiring Our Heroes has inspired more than 1,400 businesses of all sizes to hire 255,000 veterans, transitioning servicemembers, and military spouses.

The U.S. Trucking Industry employees more than 4 million drivers across a variety of job types and classifications and currently has more than 300,000 open positions.  Eric Eversole, Executive Director of Hiring Our Heroes, chose FASTPORT for the Trucking Track section of the initiative to help military veterans find great careers in the trucking industry.
